Chardonnay is the chameleon of the grape world, capable of producing diverse age-worthy dry wine styles ranging from crisp and light through to powerful and textured. Part of Chardonnay's charm is its versatility, meaning it's a popular choice for wine lovers everywhere.
From full-bodied, often oaky, with buttery textures in California to crisp, rich and tropical flavours found in Australia, a glass of Chardonnay is always sure to delight.
Pale-white, straw and hay. Clear and bright. Fresh bread and custard; green apples just picked, apple skin and apple strudel - cold. Aromatics and bouquet demonstrate the fine and also effortless balance between cool-climate chardonnay fruit and deft, demure oak’s distraction. The nose hints at richness but lurking so quietly in the background is honeydew and lotus flower and a secret citrus grove freshly rained upon. Clear clean striking lines of vibrant acidity around which lovingly cling peach, green apple, nectarine and melon fruit bursts. Concentration, then texture, and then richness at the very core. A swathe of just ripe fruit flavours return, then more acidity, then a long and lingering finish. As a glass of fine wine, it might seem effortless and easy to like, but there is a lot of wine in that one glass, and a lot to discover.
Complex nose with, pink grapefruit, white nectarine, spices and nougat aromas. Intense palate of lemon curd, baked pastry and nutty flavours. Wrapped up in Tumbarumba’s hallmark acidity which gives great drive and length to the wine.
Very pale straw with a green tinge. Tight and bright early picked peach and melon notes carried on a weighty palate, culminating in a fresh & crisp finish with the most interesting of cashewy oak nuances.
Pale straw yellow hue. A bouquet of white nectarine and pineapple, as well as underlying vanilla oak, complementing the overall freshness of the wine. Soft and creamy palate, with textural notes as well as concentrated stone fruits. Oak is well integrated, as well as gentle acid, overall tying into a round, generous finish.

An example of cool climate Tasmanian Chardonnay at its best. Refined, complex and elegant wine, displaying a green straw colour with white peach, stone fruit aromas and a creamy palate. This wine is as bold and loveable as our Tassie Devil. Devil(ish) is proud to support the conservation efforts in Tasmania. A donation to Conservation Volunteers Australia is made from every bottle purchased.
A youthful, dry Chardonnay with melon and nectarine aromas, this wine is equal parts creamy and crisp, with a palate of bright citrus notes and refreshing cool-climate acidity. A uniquely Tasmanian Chardonnay from a place unlike anywhere else. The Devil's Corner Chardonnay pairs wonderfully with grilled chicken breast topped with a creamy lemon butter sauce, and a side of roasted asparagus. For a seafood pairing, enjoy a glass with seared scallops and fresh rocket salad or indulge in a simple vegetarian pasta with sautéed mushrooms and a sprinkle of freshly grated Parmesan.
