This wine is 100% Chardonnay from two different terroirs. The main component (approximately 70%) is from a relatively high-altitude vineyard. The fruit from here provides grapefruit and lemon characters along with elegance and length on the palate. To this, Chardonnay from a lower-altitude, (warmer) vineyard has been blended. Being a slightly warmer location, this fruit fills out the mid palate and gives a burst of ripe melon and nectarine fruit flavours. A perfect food wine that pairs well with fish, pasta, poultry and soft cheeses.
