Our Orange vineyard is situated on the volcanic slopes of Mt Canobolas in the Orange region. Grown at an altitude of 800 metres, our Riesling is a dry aromatic style with a perfumed nose of orange blossom and ginger spice that leads into a palate framed with citrus zest and a long, refined finish.
The Petaluma story is all about distinguished vineyard sites and meticulous attention to detail from vineyard to glass. Petaluma Hanlin Hill Riesling presents aromas which flow perfectly from the nose to the palate. This wine shows richness and concentration of fruit with sweet fruits, blood orange, green apple layered with floral notes of jasmine and citrus blossom. Vibrant and balanced natural acidity gives the wine a great long finish.
The palate shows great fruit purity with an incredible, pure acid line. Lots of citrus flavours, lemon pith and a floral intensity which carries through from the bouquet.
