Philip Shaw No 11 Chardonnay 2023 750ml

The vintage 2023 experienced a delayed start, with a cool and wet spring and consistent warmer weather during the end of summer. A lot of effort has then been put into managing the crop and dealing with a mild wet Autumn to deliver ripe and healthy grapes into the winery. Flavours slowly developed and high vibrant acidity were two unique characteristics of the grapes that gave the wine delicacy, tension and depth.

An eclectic No11 Chardonnay that combines delicate aromas and holds attention with its concentrated acidity and a saline finish edge. Pear flesh, chamomile and subtle oaky notes. The flinty flavour alternates with a prolonged minerality and a long balanced refreshing tension.  Great cellaring potential up to 10 years.
