Terms & Conditions

  1. Program Overview

The DrinkSpot Business Rewards Program allows registered businesses to:

  • Offer staff discounts on eligible purchases made via DrinkSpot
  • Earn reward points based on qualifying purchases linked to their business

Reward points may be converted into cashback or DrinkSpot account credit, subject to these Terms & Conditions.

Participation in the program is free and does not require minimum spend commitments.

Participation in the program does not guarantee any minimum rewards, cashback amount, or participation outcomes.

  1. Eligibility

The program is open to:

  • Australian registered businesses
  • Businesses with a valid ABN
  • Authorised decision-makers acting on behalf of the business (for example owner, director, or manager)

Participating businesses must comply with all applicable liquor laws within their relevant Australian state or territory.

DrinkSpot reserves the right to approve, decline, suspend, or remove any business from the program at its sole discretion.

  1. Territory Availability

The DrinkSpot Business Rewards Program may not be available in all regions of Australia.

Program availability depends on the presence of licensed DrinkSpot delivery partnersand local regulatory requirements.

DrinkSpot reserves the right to expand, restrict, or modify program availability in any region at any time.

  1. Staff Discount Rules

Staff discounts provided through the program:

  • Apply only to personal consumption
  • Must not be used for resale, redistribution, or commercial supply

Staff discounts must not be used for:

  • commercial resale
  • promotional giveaways
  • business supply or redistribution.

Discounts:

  • Are subject to product availability
  • May vary by product, region, or promotional period

DrinkSpot may amend, limit, or withdraw staff discount offers at any time with reasonable notice.

  1. Eligible Purchases

Eligible Purchases” means completed retail orders placed through DrinkSpot and fulfilled by a licensed DrinkSpot partner.

Eligible Purchases exclude:

  • cancelled orders
  • refunded transactions
  • fraudulent activity
  • disputed payments
  • ineligible transactions as determined by DrinkSpot.

Only Eligible Purchases may accrue reward points.

  1. Rewards Points Accrual

Reward points are earned when:

  • Eligible Purchases are completed via DrinkSpot
  • Purchases are correctly linked to the registered participating business.

Reward points:

  • Accrue only on successfully fulfilled and paid orders
  • Do not accrue on cancelled, refunded, or disputed orders.

DrinkSpot may apply:

  • minimum order thresholds
  • category exclusions (for example heavily discounted or promotional items).
  1. Cashback Conversion & Payouts

Reward points may be converted into:

  • bank cashback; or
  • DrinkSpot account credit.

Cashback:

  • Is calculated periodically (for example monthly or quarterly as determined by DrinkSpot)
  • Is paid only once a minimum payout threshold has been reached.

To receive cashback payments, businesses must provide:

  • valid ABN details
  • nominated bank account information.

Cashback payments:

  • are not interest
  • are not rebates on alcohol purchases
  • do not constitute a financial product or financial service.

DrinkSpot reserves the right to delay or withhold payments where verification or compliance checks are required.

  1. Tax Responsibility

Cashback or rewards received through the program may be considered assessable income.

Participating businesses are solely responsible for:

  • GST obligations
  • income tax reporting
  • accounting treatment of rewards received.

DrinkSpot does not provide tax, accounting, or financial advice.

  1. Compliance with Liquor Laws

DrinkSpot operates in accordance with applicable Australian liquor licensing laws and facilitates the lawful sale and delivery of alcohol through licensed partners.

Participating businesses must:

  • not promote excessive or irresponsible alcohol consumption
  • not resell or redistribute alcohol without appropriate licences.

DrinkSpot reserves the right to suspend or terminate participation where a business is reasonably suspected of breaching liquor compliance requirements.

  1. Responsible Service & Age Verification

All alcohol sales facilitated through DrinkSpot are subject to responsible service of alcohol laws.

Customers purchasing alcohol must be 18 years of age or older.

Age verification may be required:

  • during checkout; and/or
  • at the point of delivery by the licensed DrinkSpot partner fulfilling the order.

Delivery partners may refuse supply where legal requirements are not satisfied.

  1. Misuse, Fraud & Gaming

The following activities are prohibited:

  • artificially inflating orders to generate rewards
  • self-referrals designed to manipulate cashback outcomes
  • resale of discounted products
  • any form of program abuse or fraud.

DrinkSpot may:

  • reverse reward points
  • withhold cashback payments
  • suspend or terminate program participation immediately.
  1. Marketing & Branding Consent

By joining the program, participating businesses consent to DrinkSpot:

  • listing the business as a program participant
  • using the business name and/or logo for internal or promotional purposes.

No confidential or financial data will be shared publicly without consent.

  1. Program Changes & Termination

DrinkSpot reserves the right to:

  • modify cashback rates
  • adjust reward structures
  • pause, suspend, or discontinue the program.

Where practical, reasonable notice will be provided.

Businesses may withdraw from the program at any time.

Accrued rewards at termination remain subject to verification and compliance with these Terms & Conditions.

  1. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DrinkSpot is not liable for:

  • indirect or consequential losses
  • loss of business opportunity or revenue
  • staff purchasing behaviour
  • expectations regarding rewards earned.

Participation in the program is undertaken at the business’s own discretion.

  1. Privacy & Data

Personal and business information is handled in accordance with the DrinkSpot Privacy Policy.

Information collected may be used for:

  • program administration
  • rewards tracking
  • communication related to program participation.
  1. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
