Midnight black heart with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Showing plenty of intensity out of the glass are enticing aromas of black cherry and blackcurrant infused with dried herbs. Some liquorice, tobacco and spice notes are also apparent. Rich and expressive the mid weighted palate features ripe red to black currant, liquorice and blueberry fruits over a dried herb, subtle earth and spicy tobacco back drop. Well integrated tannins have a polished feel. Finishes with loads of fleshy fruit yet maintains a sense of refinement on the lengthy aftertaste.
