Impenetrable inky black in colour with a very deep dark purple hue. Youthful scents of freshly crushed blackcurrants, red liquorice, tobacco, earth and spicy bell pepper show ample intensity out of the glass. Rich, inky textured flavours of blackcurrant, red liquorice and tobacco overlay earthy dried herb and subtle bell pepper characters. Finishes with an energetic freshness, slightly grainy tannins and a generously fruited aftertaste.
