A youthful, dry Chardonnay with melon and nectarine aromas, this wine is equal parts creamy and crisp, with a palate of bright citrus notes and refreshing cool-climate acidity. A uniquely Tasmanian Chardonnay from a place unlike anywhere else. The Devil's Corner Chardonnay pairs wonderfully with grilled chicken breast topped with a creamy lemon butter sauce, and a side of roasted asparagus. The Devil’s Lair Chardonnay gains complexity from the terroir of individual vineyards and the winemakers handle and blend each batch of fruit to make a wine that best represents the Devil’s Lair style. The colour is a gleaming straw green with a nose of elegant pink grapefruit and lemon curd with a complexing flint note. Lemon vanilla and beeswax oak aromas promise an intriguing and flavoursome wine. The palate has tightly woven folds of white stone fruit and fresh citrus that drive a layered and textural palate. Subtle chalky pith frame this generous and richly flavoured wine. Energetic, supple and deeply satisfying.
