After a short hiatus, the Talisker 30 Year Old was re-launched as a cask-strength annual release in 2021. The rare expression of the last bottling, made in 2017, is being offered in limited quantities to celebrate the summit of Skye. Three decades of purposeful, skilled ageing have nurtured and gently shaped this visceral whisky but the powerful sweet smoke and pointed pepperiness still soar through the mellowed profile despite the long-ageing. An elegant and complex expression with Talisker hallmarks of pepper and smoke, and the notable fruitiness of waxy red apples and freshly cut orchard fruits.
