Starward 100 Proof (formerly Fortis) is fully matured in American Oak red wine barrels sourced predominantly from the Barossa Valley, and bottled at 50% ABV hence the name 100 Proof. These barrels, which previously held big Australian bold reds like cabernet and shiraz, offer a fuller and richer mouthfeel to this whisky. 100 Proof is blended in batches, meaning each batch will be unique but true to its luscious tasting notes.
