Given the Hunter Valley's climate and terroir, this Chardonnay has flavours of ripe citrus fruits like lemon and grapefruit, along with peach and apricot. The influence of French oak brings further complexity. Notes of toasted oak, vanilla, and butterscotch. The acidity strikes a balance between crispness and richness. For this wine we chose to use French oak barrels for fermentation. This imparts specific flavours and textures to the wine. These include notes of vanilla, butter, spice, and a creamy mouthfeel.
McGuigan Black Label Rosé is a bright, dry rosé crafted in a fresh and vibrant style. Crisp and refreshing, it’s made for easy drinking with a clean, summery finish.
Sourced from the Hunter Valley, New South Wales, Mollys Cradle Verdelho offers refreshing tropical fruit flavours along with musk and citrusy notes. Led by a core of melon and passionfruit, this wine boasts a sweet side balanced by a zesty finish.
The name ‘Alluvius’ derives from the well drained, ‘alluvial’ soils found in vineyards planted close to river beds. These soils are renowned for growing Semillon as it leads to a unique expression of what is considered to be Australia’s greatest white wine style. Pure Semillon aromas of lemongrass and lime articulate the nose of this classic Hunter Semillon. The palate is intense yet elegant displaying mineral texture with great line and length. A wine of great drive, coupled with extraordinary finesse.
