Cienna is an exciting grape variety bred by the CSIRO Plant Industry by crossing Sumoll, a grape variety from Spain, with Cabernet Sauvignon. This wine is made from Cienna grapes grown at our Mystic Park vineyard in the Murray Valley of north-west Victoria. In the glass, this wine is a vibrant ruby red colour. Aromas of fresh red berry fruit and a hint of spice. With fruit sweetness on the palate, it is rich and juicy with a refreshing light bubble to the finish.
Beautifully balanced aromas of blackberry & red currant fruit rounded out by hints of spice. A perfect wine for barbeques. This wine is best enjoyed chilled when still young and vibrant. Dolcetto & Syrah is a fantastic light red wine that is served slightly chilled and pairs well with a wide range of foods, from spicy to desserts. Try it with a Thai red beef curry loaded with freshly chopped chilli and coriander, served with jasmine rice. For dessert, a raspberry panna cotta with seasonal berries and double cream would be ideal.
The Patricia Chardonnay is an elegant wine that balances natural acidity with complexity and ripe stone fruit flavours. Crafted from our best blocks in the Tamar Valley, it showcases delightful notes of white peach and citrus. This wine offers an elegant profile with mineral characters and a long finish. It displays a harmonious balance of acidity, oak, and layers of intrigue. For the summer months the Patricia Chardonnay would be perfect with lightly fried white bait with a lemon mayonnaise dipping sauce. During winter try it with lobster and a lime and coriander butter.
