Four Winds Vineyard

Four Winds Vineyard is a beloved, family-owned micro-winery just 30 minutes from Canberra, nestled in Murrumbateman in the Canberra District. Since planting their 33-acre vineyard in the late 1990s, the Collingwood family has embraced a philosophy of minimal intervention—hand‑pruning, shoot‑thinning, leaf‑plucking, and hand‑picking in pursuit of purity and expression in their wine.

Their warmly rustic cellar door—built with repurposed vineyard materials like old wine barrels, wooden picking bins, and Canberra red bricks—invites guests to relax with wood‑fired pizzas and a glass of award-winning Shiraz, Riesling, or Sangiovese amid scenic vineyard views. In 2024, Four Winds Vineyard captured the coveted Jimmy Watson Memorial Trophy and multiple top awards for their 2023 Shiraz, solidifying their place as one of Australia’s most celebrated boutique wineries.
