Devil's Lair Margaret River Chardonnay 750ml

Above average winter rains preceded a warm and dry spring. This lead to fantastic flowering and allowed the vines to flourish with lush balanced canopies. A cool and mild growing season produced fruit with excellent depth of flavour, pristine texture and great persistence. Pale straw in colour with an aroma of white nectarine blossom and toasted cashews lifted with lemon/lime zest, fresh ginger and wasabi notes. Classic powerful white stone fruit dominates the palate with a vibrant core of lime citrus and lemon curd adding to purity and intensity. Delicate use of oak and gentle lees stirring adds a subtle creaminess that overlays a textural and richly flavoured wine.
