The legend behind Fifth Leg goes a little like this... Not far from the Devil’s Lair winery in Margaret River there is a cave with the same name. During some archaeological digging the fossilised remains of a Tasmanian tiger were found, together with a mysterious ‘fifth leg’. The Semillon Sauvignon Blanc is a vibrant and crisp wine with refreshing acidity and balance. It’s full of zesty, vivacious fruit with notes of lychee and passionfruit. Winemaker Comments – Matt Godfrey Vintage Region: Western Australia Grape Variety: 54% Semillon and 46% Sauvignon Blanc Maturation: Stainless steel. Colour: Brilliant white with a vibrant green tinge. Nose: Vibrant, lifted and fresh. Citrus, snow pea and freshly cut grass aromas are intertwined with subtle tropical notes of guava and gooseberry. Palate: An explosion of passionfruit and lychee flavours with nuances of freshly cut grass and green beans. A refreshing lemon citrus acidity creates a vibrant wine with a crisp finish.
