De Lisio Wines

De Lisio Wines is a family-owned boutique winery located in McLaren Vale, South Australia, established in 2002 by winemaker Tony De Lisio and his wife Krystina. Drawing from Tony’s deep-rooted Italian heritage and early viticultural experiences in Clarendon, the winery focuses on crafting premium wines that reflect the unique terroir of the region. Their portfolio showcases a range of varietals, with standout reds like the 'Krystina' Shiraz and 'The Covert' Cabernet Sauvignon, as well as the multi-varietal 'Quarterback' red blend, which combines Shiraz, Grenache, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot.

De Lisio Wines also produces whites such as the 'Argento' Fiano and Pinot Grigio, and the sparkling Moscato 'Honeypot'. The winery sources fruit from three distinct vineyards on Seaview Road, an area so prized that there are efforts to have it officially recognised as a sub-region. Visitors can experience De Lisio Wines at their cellar door, where they can enjoy tastings and learn more about the winery's commitment to quality and tradition.

LaTesta Merlot

The first wine Tony De Lisio made was a 1997 Shiraz, which was heralded by Robert Parker Jnr as a 40-year wine. Well, halfway there in 2017 we decided to celebrate by making a 20th anniversary Merlot, using fruit from Mc Laren Vale and 100% French oak. The resulting LaTesta Merlot is the combined experience of 3 generations of wine making combined with a family history of over 500 years
