Its combination of warm days and cool nights—thanks to its elevated position—creates ideal conditions for crisp, aromatic white wines with vibrant acidity and remarkable aging potential.
The region also excels in Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon, often showing elegance and spice. Clare Valley is defined by its rolling hills, stone cottages, and charming towns like Sevenhill and Auburn, offering a relaxed, country atmosphere. With a rich winemaking history dating back to the 1850s, a strong commitment to sustainability, and the scenic Riesling Trail for cyclists and walkers, Clare Valley blends tradition, beauty, and innovation in every glass.
Citrus aromas concentrate the nose with exceptional power. White peach and pear come through, attesting further to the strength of the fruit. Flavours run deep through the palate, with uncompromising acid providing backbone, structure, and length. Careful cellaring and patience will reward with graceful ageing.
The fruit was divided into 2 parcels. One parcel was made in stainless steel and underwent slow, cool fermentation which was stopped early to drive the lemon sherbet and mandarin flavours, while the second parcel fermented in barrel to drive texture and palate weight. The two combine in harmonious balance.
Deep ruby colour. Lifted notes of blackberry and blackcurrant, with hints of tomato leaf, cinnamon and anise. Soft fleshy palate with black pepper, bramble, black tea, and cassis. Chalky tannins, soft acidity, balanced and persistent. Drinking wonderfully now, this red will continue to age gracefully.
A delicious dry style Rosé. Fresh guava, strawberries, raspberries and a slightly creamy texture. The fantastic acid profile of Sangiovese provides brightness, with a chalky textural finish.
