Bartagunyah Wines

Bartagunyah Wines is a boutique, family-owned vineyard located in the Southern Flinders Ranges near Melrose, South Australia. Established in the late 1990s on land owned by the Smart family since 1934, the vineyard sits at 400 metres above sea level and thrives in a cool Mediterranean climate.

With dry-grown, low-yield vines, Bartagunyah produces bold, richly flavoured Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon, along with small amounts of Viognier. The estate also offers a rustic cellar door experience, set against a backdrop of rugged hills, native bushland, and sweeping views.
