It has a very distinct nutty flavor to it that I don’t find present in many whiskeys. It starts with a very sweet butterscotch, toffee, and brown sugar flavor and then moves over a bit more into the nutty, almost peanut or roasted almond, flavors and finishes out with a nice touch of rye spice and pepper.
